AI Image Face Swap

Move a face onto a new scene without reshooting: series consistency for fictional characters, and recasts of your own shoots — for fictional, self, or documented-consent faces only.

Fictional faces, your own face, or documented consent only. Real public figures are off-limits.

Per-job credit pricing is shown before you confirm. Source faces and results stay private in your account.

What the swapper is really doing

A face swap is not a paste. The tool reads the source face as an identity — bone structure, feature geometry, the things that make a face recognizable — then re-renders that identity inside the target image’s pose, angle and lighting. Skin tone is re-matched, shadows are rebuilt, and the seam is blended into the target’s texture. When it works, the result looks photographed, not assembled. When the inputs fight it, no amount of re-rolling fixes the geometry — which is why this page spends more time on inputs than on settings.

Inputs that swap cleanly

The source face

  • Front-facing or near it, head level, eyes visible — identity lives in the frontal geometry.
  • Even, soft light: hard shadows carve the face into shapes the swapper then has to un-carve.
  • Unobstructed: no hands, hair curtains, sunglasses or heavy fringe across the features.
  • One face in frame, large enough to read: a face that fills a good part of the source image.

The target image

  • Similar head angle to the source — a frontal identity onto a three-quarter target is the comfortable limit; profile targets fight every swapper.
  • Compatible lighting story: a face lit from the left lands oddly in a scene lit from the right, however good the blend.
  • One face at a time in group scenes: swap per face, checking each, rather than all at once.

What creators use it for

Consistency

A character who stays herself

Design a character once in the Generator, keep her best portrait as the identity source, and put her face into new scenes without drift.

Recast

Your shoot, recast

Your own face, your own archive: revisit a favourite set with a different presentation, no studio day required.

Repair

Rescue a great scene

A generated scene where everything works except the face drifting off-character — swap the reference face back in instead of re-rolling the scene.

Face Swap FAQ

Can I swap a celebrity’s face?

No. Public figures and any real person without documented consent are off-limits — in stills, in video, in “parody”, in everything.

My own face — any restrictions?

None beyond the studio’s general rules. Your face is yours.

Where do I get a good identity source?

The most reliable source is a portrait you generated for the purpose: frontal, evenly lit, unobstructed. One good identity portrait serves a whole series.

Does it work on video too?

Yes — the Video Face Swap tracks the face through a clip. The input standards are the same, plus motion discipline.

What does a swap cost?

A per-job credit price shown before you confirm; failed jobs refund automatically.
